Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the QuickFact platform — including browsing the website, generating videos, or publishing content — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

These terms apply to all users of QuickFact, including free users, paid subscribers, and API users. We may modify these terms at any time; material changes will be communicated via the platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating a QuickFact account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

QuickFact supports sign-in via Google and GitHub OAuth. If you use OAuth sign-in, your use of those services is also governed by the respective OAuth provider's terms and privacy policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in prohibited conduct, or is used for fraudulent or illegal purposes.

3. Subscription and Payments

QuickFact offers a free plan with limited features and paid plans with additional credits and capabilities. All paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method for the applicable fees.

• Credits — paid plans include a monthly credit allowance. Credits are consumed when videos are generated or published. Unused credits do not roll over between billing cycles unless otherwise stated.
• Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no prorated refunds are issued for partial months.
• Upgrades and downgrades — you may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades are charged immediately on a prorated basis; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
• Failed payments — if a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to process the payment again. If payment is not received within 14 days, your account may be suspended or downgraded to the free plan.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use QuickFact to create, publish, or distribute content that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction.
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Contains hate speech, harassment, defamation, or harmful content.
• Promotes violence, illegal activities, or dangerous behavior.
• Exploits or targets minors in any way.
• Is spam, clickbait, or intended solely for manipulation of algorithms.
• Attempts to bypass content moderation systems on social media platforms.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and publish using QuickFact. We do not monitor or review user-generated content, but we reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms and suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited conduct.

5. Content Ownership and Rights

Your content: You retain full ownership of all content you create using QuickFact, including scripts, video concepts, and published videos. By uploading custom materials (images, audio, or other assets) you represent that you have the necessary rights to use those materials.

QuickFact's rights: We claim no ownership over your content. However, by using the platform you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the QuickFact service to you.

AI-generated content:Content generated by QuickFact's AI on your behalf (scripts, footage suggestions, captions) is generated based on your input. We do not claim ownership of the output, but you are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before publishing it.

Platform content:QuickFact's name, logo, branding, and any proprietary technology, algorithms, or UI components are owned by QuickFact and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.

6. Third-Party Platforms

QuickFact allows you to connect social media accounts (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Threads) and publish content to those platforms on your behalf. When you connect a third-party account:

• You authorize QuickFact to act as an agent on your behalf to post content to that platform.
• Your use of each third-party platform is governed by that platform's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines — not by these QuickFact terms.
• QuickFact is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party platform, or for any content published to those platforms by you or anyone else.
• Some platforms require you to be the sole or authorized manager of the connected account. You represent that you have the right to publish to any channel you connect.

7. API and Developer Access

QuickFact provides API access for developers who want to integrate video generation capabilities into their own products. API usage is subject to these terms in full, plus any additional rate limits and usage policies communicated via the API documentation. Abuse of the API — including circumventing rate limits or using the API to build competing products — may result in immediate API access revocation.

8. Service Availability

QuickFact strives for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, or unforeseen outages may cause temporary service interruptions. We make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

We do not guarantee specific processing times for video generation. Render times depend on video complexity, current server load, and third-party API availability. Priority queue access is available on paid plans and provides faster processing, but does not guarantee immediate completion.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The QuickFact platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or free from intellectual property claims. You use the platform at your own discretion and are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publishing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuickFact and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, business opportunities, or reputation — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the total amount of fees paid by you to QuickFact in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QuickFact, its operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms of Service.
• Your publication of content to third-party platforms.
• Your infringement of any third party's intellectual property or other rights.
• Your fraudulent or illegal use of the platform.

11. Account Deletion

You may delete your QuickFact account at any time by visiting your account settings or by visiting /delete-account. Deleting your account will:

• Permanently remove all your personal information within 30 days.
• Cancel any active subscription immediately (no refund for the current period).
• Revoke access to all connected social media accounts.
• Delete all your scripts, video drafts, and unpublished videos.

Published videos on third-party platforms are governed by each platform's own policies and must be removed directly on those platforms.

12. Intellectual Property Infringement

QuickFact respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. If you believe that content on QuickFact infringes your copyright or other rights, please contact us at support@quickfact.video. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing the allegedly infringing content.

If you believe your content has been incorrectly flagged or removed, you may submit a counter-notice. Repeat violations of intellectual property rights may result in account suspension or termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vietnam.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal complaint, we encourage you to contact us directly to try to resolve any dispute informally. For users in the European Union, the Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/) may be available to you.

15. Termination

QuickFact reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms of Service or any applicable law. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
• If termination is due to a violation of these terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any fees paid.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Content Ownership, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification — shall remain in effect.
